"Angel Cat Sugar" merchandise made its debut, in 2003, at Kiddyland, one of Japan's largest and most popular character-goods specialty stores. "Angel Cat Sugar" was also selected as the mascot for a popular TV program in Japan in 2004 and is well known as a cute, lovable character that appeals to a large segment of the population.
